Record Storm Ravages Warren Area and Nearby Towns

Severe flood and wind swept Warren Edinboro Titusville Oil City and nearby places. Buildings basements streets and venues flooded. sewer and water systems overwhelmed. Dozens of homes damaged and businesses strained as crews assess wreckage and begin repairs.

Lightning Threatens K P L Plant Fire

A severe storm damaged the K P L plant causing a fire and flooding. The watchman reported the blaze spread through the Woolworking department and a chemical supply area was extinguished. One employee was injured, with a worker named Arilagh trapped by debris before help arrived.

Red Cross Subscriptions Reported From Various Contributors

Additional Red Cross subscriptions were received today through the Board of Commerce. Notable gifts include $2.00 from Aled Honey Uretsler, $1.90 from the Sunday Hehoot of the Bayenwhay Aivent fits, and $4.00 from G. M. Simmons with D. B. Rows contributing $10. Alumni Reunion At Armory Delights Chivy High School

Annual alumni reunion held at the Armory featured remarks by President J. Taylor and welcome by Mrs. Alexander. The event included a reception, program highlights, fire of toasts, a musical program by the Waller Orchestra, dancing until two, and a colorful display of banners and flags directed by Mrs. A. Piel. United Press reports the first detachment of Pershing's American troops has arrived at a French port. The troops disembarked amid a grand demonstration by local townspeople, marching to camp sites after a safe voyage from the United States.
