Jamestown Hit By Severe Lightning Storm
Jamestown New York endured a violent electrical storm causing two people to be knocked unconscious. C B Larson proprietor of a market on Allen Street and Mrs Salome Rapp of Fourth Street suffered lightning shocks. Larson recovered quickly while Rapp remained dazed and injured with doctors unsure of full recovery for days. The storm also damaged the parsonage of Reverend G W Critchlow and started small fires in upstair areas, with bystanders aiding the injured until help arrived.
