Carolyn Dorothy Peterson daughter of Rudolph and Mrs Peterson of 520 Palmer Jamestown marries Edla Monroe Silvis son of Monroe Silvis Corry in a June 18 ceremony at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church Jamestown. Rev Dwight L Steiner presided with music by Mrs Lennart Franzen and Richard Peterson. The bride wore satin with Chantilly lace, a cathedral train, and a French illusion veil. A bridal party including maid of honor Lucille Danielson and bridesmaids from Erie attended. A reception for 200 followed. The couple plan a Northwestern New York state motor trip and then travel for work with Beeshide Gospel Mission in Jenkins Kentucky.

Miss Kathleen Ann Sullivan daughter of Dr and Mrs Thomas J Sullivan of 202 Shawneannnjoy Wyxton Easton and Walter Sweet Jr son of Mr and Mrs Walter Sweet of 625 Wright Street were married at St Bernard s Catholic Church Easton. Nuptial Mass celebrated by Rev Joseph B Muldoon before palms and white Canterbury bells. Bride wore an organdy nylon tulle gown with bertha collar and pearl crown, carrying Eucharis stephanotis and valley lilies. Sister Mitch Mary Sullivan served as maid of honor in white organdy and blue taffeta with a white hat.

Sride of S. Walter Sweet Jr. ward's Church Easton Pa carried a crescent bouquet of delphinium carnations and gypsophilia. Attending as bridesmaids were Miss Jentine Mich Miss Carolyn Hammerstone and Mrs George Blehler all of whom wore gowns dentis tal to the maid of honor. John Sweet of Corry the groom's brother served as best man and ushers Were Daniel Golden Robert Clark and William Foley. Approximately 195 invited friends and relatives attended the reception at the Hotel Houston after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to the South. They will reside in St Louis Mo where Mr Sweet is employed by the Mobilair company. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in civil engineering and was commissioned second lieutenant in the Air Force Reserve. He is a member of Phi Kappa fraternity. Mrs Sweet has been a teacher in the Easton-Forks Joint School District. She is a graduate of Ruston Catholic High School and Pennsylvania State University where she was affiliated with Delta Zeta sorority.
