Harrisburg June 25 The AWAID's new draft law may cause some married men and reclassified 4 Fs between 19 and 24 to be drafted in Pennsylvania this Fall Col Remy M Gross draft director predicted these groups may start by the end of August The law loosens exemptions for non veteran married men without dependents and lowers the draft age from 19 to 18 but exemptions from older age groups must be exhausted first before under 18 can be taken The statute lowers physical and mental standards toward World War I levels potentially drafting about 150000 men from ages 19 to 25
Lyle Siniman a 19 year old resident of East Colum bus avenue escaped with bruises and abrasions after losing control of his motorcycle on the Corry Sparts highway near the Ailstop Dairy Bar. He suffered injuries to the left leg and shoulders. The bike, owned with his brother Raleigh, was valued at over 500 dollars. He explained the front steering adjustment had loosened, causing the wobble and loss of control as he rounded a curve.
Four occupants of a 1948 convertible escaped injury when the car overturned near Lottzville on the Sugar Grove road shortly before midnight Saturday.
