Grange Meet At Spring Creek Draws 100 Attendees
About 100 people gathered at the Spring Creek Grange Hall to hear talks on Federal Aid to Elementary Education and Proposed Revision of Pennsylvania's Education System. Speakers included Supt. David Swarts, Rev. Jordan Cole, Prof. Robert Young, and Prof. R I Getts. The Swipe Hunters provided entertainment and a lunch was served by Grange ladies.

Four Borgstrom Brothers to be Honored in Joint Funeral
War veteran brothers from Utah, Alan Hiwinnon Borgstrom and three siblings, died in 1944 during battles from Guadalcanal to Germany.
