The Corry Chapter of the Pennsylvania Federation of China Painters met at Mrs. Norman Swart’s home with Mrs. Raymond Chelton presiding. After business, Swart demonstrated raised paste relief gold. The evening’s prize, a handpainted cup and saucer, went to Mrs. Theodore Amoroso. State federation tickets for the Sept 27 and 28 Monroeville show were announced. attendees need not be present to win. Next meeting date July 15 will be announced.
The Corry Aven 4H Horse and Pony Club met recently at Wayne Township Building for a swimming party and a Wiener party at a member’s home on Saturday. New members joined the group during the event.

The Women's Golf Association of Corry Country Club hosted the annual event Friday with multiple golf results pictured. Participants from northwestern Pennsylvania cities attended a luncheon and social in the clubhouse after the contests.
