By United Press. June 22. Crews cleared debris in Inglewood after a severe quake toppled walls and shattered windows. Many buildings were leveled and a power plant wall collapsed, plunging parts of the town into darkness as emergency work continued.
In New York on March 28 authorities narrowed focus in the Joseph Tivol death case. Elwell discussed the crime with associate Wilton and a district attorney, while a search of the home at 80 New York indicated a broader inquiry. A delegation from Corry Ledge was expected to travel to Meadville to submit further details as investigators seek the missing links.
