Linda Louise Catalfu of St Petersburg Florida married Richard William Webster Jr of Grand Island New York in a 1 pm ceremony at St Thomas The Apostle Church. Rev John Lucas officiated with bridesmaids Sherry Webster Dian Drennan Laurie Mercer and others. Out of town guests attended and a Moose Lodge reception followed for 300. The couple will reside in Albuquerque New Mexico after a cross country honeymoon. Linda is Corry Area School graduate and Richard is an Air Force man.
The Women of the Moose met with senior regent Mrs. Gertrude McCray presiding. They set July 1 as the first meeting due to July 4, invited members to a joint picnic with Academy of Friendship, and learned of awards and hospital news.
Oe members and guests held a four table Howell session at the Corry Motor Inn. Winners included T H Treat and Robert Larsen of Jamestown with 55, Veo Lindsey and Mrs. William Masler Jr 46 42, and F H Bartholme with Arthur Hansen of Union City 44. Next week's event at 7 30 pm Wednesday benefits the American Cancer Society for 1974.
The Women's Relief Corps auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic held an all day session at the Corry Grange Hall with a noon tureen dinner hosted by Leola Willis Opal Pier Etta Sargent and Mae Hall. President Eva Dundon led the afternoon meeting as members Velma Long Hazel Gentilman and Mary Robbins reported on the Philadelphia state convention and new posts including Long as president of the Pennsylvania Memorial Hospital Brookville and inspector for the state WRC. Hospitality plans for July were announced with Long Bitta Sargent Winnie Pierce and Edith McGraw on the committee.
