Albion Housing For Elderly Gets Go Ahead
Erie county commissioners approved selling a 3.5 acre Albion site to the Northwestern School District for a limited income elderly housing project. A plan to relocate the Northwest Area Family Service Center to the old Albion High School was outlined. The 100 unit complex could cost about 3 million with half funding from the federal government and a 18 month construction period, with 75 widows ready to move once complete.
