Mrs. William Mitchell hosted Corry Jay-Ettes with a barbecue before the business session. Members were asked to pack box lunches for a field trip to Harrisburg on June 1. A workers’ party for the cancer crusade at the YMCA, with Jay-Ettes as hostesses, was planned. Additional events include a bring-your-neighbor dance at the Elks Lodge, Archery Festival on July 18, and Bazaar Daze in August.
