Potato Blossom Queen Contest at Pennsylvania Potato Field Day
The Potato Blossom Queen contest will cap the Pennsylvania Potato Field Day in Potato City on July 20 91. Lois Nisley of Manheim will crown her successor as Potato Blossom Queen as part of a festival drawing thousands. The program includes demonstrations by Ivan Miller on profitable production, a fashion show, music, and a Blue Label candle contest theme. The event showcases potato varieties, equipment, and safety exhibits along U.S. Route 6 near the Allegheny Mountains.
