Camp to care for children planned near Kane
Work will start soon on a camp for underprivileged children near Kane, about 12 miles from Eve in Hur Allegheny National Forest. The project, funded with 25,000 dollars, will be operated by CC Camp Red Bridge, with inmate labor and facilities including infirmary, mess hall, shower house, two washhouses and a swimming pool. The camp at OH Camp 11 lies west of Thime's Corners, near Kinain Creek, atop a former site abandoned years ago.
