In Pittsburgh on June 16 the J. & P. Gleaners & Dyers Inc with offices in Washington, Pa was ordered by Judge F P Schoonmaker in federal court to change its name. The judge ruled the letters A and P belong to the A&P Grocery Company and ordered the cleaning firm to stop using the insignia A. & P. Costs of the lengthy suit were assessed against the cleaning firm.
