A large industrial warehouse once owned by Pitelde Interests Aid LAN Loo Wig Vile is valued at $15 000 after a pending sale. The notice notes the property was offered recently as an investment opportunity and is now under evaluation for sale.

Oil City reports the long popular PRR flyer trains between Utica and Buffalo will return to the schedule on June 28. Trains will stop at Oil City with arrivals around 4:40 p.m. and 4:29 p.m. for southbound service, and 1:40 p.m. with 3:02 p.m. departures for northbound. The revival aims to boost summer traffic to regional points.
An elderly woman, facing arson charges, has been jailed after a grand jury indictment. She is described as physically and mentally weak and is held in Randolph awaiting further proceedings. Police note she denies the accusations as authorities pursue the case.
Walter North of Eels died at Emergency Hospital after being found by Joseph DePrens at Te40 A.M. entangled at a 40 foot embankment by barbed wire and railroad trucks. He had both legs severed and suffered a severe blood loss but lived five hours in rain before death. His father Lester and brother William were present. The incident occurred near Glade. North was 22 and employed with the Pennsylvania yard at Erle. The body will be sent to Erle for burial.
