June 16 charges of indignities to the person forced her to leave the home and family of her husband. Weed wily started divorce action in common pleas court against Elsworth L. Weeds. Represented by McClintock and McClintock of Union City. Indignities alleged since March 10, 1917. They have resided in Union City Corry Warren and Pittsburg. She currently lives in Union City. his address is not mentioned.
The United Press reports a total loss of 145 080282 dollars in Pennsylvania due to the present coal strike. Figures from the Bureau of Mediation and Arbitration show an average daily wage of five dollars per miner and a daily cost of 10 1000 to keep mines idle. The report notes the loss excludes anticipated mining profits and cites 149 520 anthracite and 179 286 bituminous miners affected as of June 1 after surveying all colliery districts.

The Board of Education will open the Summer Session of the schools at 1 o'clock Monday, June 19, in the Conored building. Miss McCullough will direct as principal, with Mrs Bertha McCray, Miss Vera Brooks and Miss Beulah Frooks assisting. Grades 4, 6, 6, 7 and 8 will be departmentalized with instructors teaching two subjects each. Sessions run from eight to twelve, aiming to help pupils catch up after illness or other absences and offer a preview for promising pupils for promotion. All pupils should present report cards next Monday at 8 o'clock. The program is arranged and work starts promptly.
