A 17 year old Santana High School senior named Dan received a $1000 cashier's check anonymously via the school. The donor instructed it be given to Dan for his moral integrity and toward his electronics engineering college career. Dan and his parents do not know who sent the money.

Concord Brownies Round Out Year Of Activities
Brownie Troop 404 of Concord School closed its year with a pet and doll parade and refreshments at the Concord School parking area. The girls toured Dodd Farms and roller skated, and on June 5 observed a Flying Up ceremony as third graders move to Junior Girl Scouts.
