Clymer Trooper Hurt in Chase Between Bilger Creek and Buffalo

In a dramatic pursuit Saturday, Rich ard Nuckis of Clymer was injured when a patrol car left the road and overturned during a chase of a speeder near Bilger Creek and Buffalo. The driver of the fleeing vehicle, several witnesses said, struck the patrol car, causing it to crash and roll into a ditch. Nuckis crawled free and summoned help as the other vehicle fled. Local authorities at the state police barracks in Buffalo investigated and filed charges.

Free Palio Shots For Needy Children At City Building

A city wide plan will offer free palio shots to children unable to pay. The program starts Thursday morning at the Municipal Building and runs from 9 to 11:30. Eligible youths aged between 5 and 19 may receive the injections by presenting proof of public assistance child welfare or support from welfare agencies or a note from a physician. Slain In Brink's Case Lifted by Informant Slur

Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder in the Brink's robbery case involving an ex convict who allegedly exposed details to the FBI. The victim Willam J. Camperon, 49, was found in a parked car near a Navy barracks in South Boston with fatal facial injuries. Union City Home Gutted By Overnight Fire

A Union City home at 7 North Street owned by Loyd Cox was destroyed in a daytime fire that spread rapidly through three hallways. Firemen battled the blaze for about one and a half hours, confining damage to the dining room, kitchen, and bathroom.
