Exhibition of Julia's Work Impresses at High School

A large crowd toured the Industrial Department exhibit last evening showing superb woodworking by seventh to ninth graders under Mr F O Johnson. Students demonstrated tool use, drawings, and projects from plant sticks to small stands, with several pieces praised for craftsmanship and finish. The display extended along the north wall and hall, with attention to soft woods at early grades and oak and harder woods in later years, plus upholstering and simple textile work. Mrs. Hardy Bonsteel presented a companion drawing and design exhibit, highlighting paper folding, color, perspective, and domestic designs. The displays will run again tonight, inviting patrons to view the praised student work and furniture qualities.
