State Law Clears Past Experience in Teacher Raises

The meeting approved extra pay for seven teachers under a new state law, Act 8, crediting all past experience. One teacher gained $300 for a master's degree, while three nondegree teachers received $300, $600, and $900 respectively. Concerns arise about future inequities and how this year's raises affect next year, with minutes noting potential ties between PSEA and Elsen if repeats occur.
