Delay Seen In Erie Hospital Construction
In Erie on June 10 officials of the U S Army Engineers Corps warned lack of skilled craftsmen could push past the September 1 deadline for the 200 bed Veterans Administration Hospital at 26th and Old French road. Contractor J Zlotnik Co of Boston advertises for specialized workers as the corps oversees the project. Once construction is complete and VA acceptance occurs, another 60 days are needed to assemble a unified operating staff before the hospital opens.
