Milk Prices Ordered Cut By Pennsylvania Board
Harrisburg June 10 The milk industry studied four new control orders to adjust resale prices on cream and ice cream mix to market conditions effective June 18. Relief milk priced at ten cents a quart in former 11 cent markets and nine cents in former 1 cent markets. Rural marketing Area No 8 merged into Area No 8. Consumers may save two cents per quart buying directly from producers in their own containers. Elimination of a one cent increase in butterfat milk above four percent helps small dairy farmers competing with large dealers.
