One fatal fire in Washington, Pa ends with L. L. Whitten dead at 37.

The Rev A Galbreath of 34 Main Street Columbus died yesterday at Cony Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted as a patient. He was 72. Born August 14, 1884 in Wampum Pennsylvania he lived there as a boy and attended public schools. He studied at Asbury College and the Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky, earning a Doctor of Divinity from Chicago Bible College. For four years he was an evangelist and song leader before joining the Methodist ministry, serving years before retirement June 2 1956. From 1940 to 1946 he pastored the First Methodist Church of Corry. Other charges included Rockland, Townville Kansas Slate Rouseville Clarion Shyron Oakland Reynoldsville Kip Wayne Streetarch and Harrisville. Since retirement he resided near Columbus. On July 12 1909 he married Lillian Soliton. He survived by two daughters Ruth Carroll Columbus and Jo May Sharon two sons Donald Salbreath Sharon and Robert Salbreath Coryhight? four sisters and four brothers. The body is at Bracken Funeral Home with services Monday at 2 pm, burial Pine Grove Cemetery.
Police from Bloomfield Township recovered youths involved in a local auto theft. Lev Hochina assisted at the scene in Corry where a car owned by Thomas Carroll of Waa Sauity was located. Investigators reviewed the incident and considered charges, with Carroll's status pending.
Neighbors report a mother named Constance Wheeldon, 28, killed her three young children in a Gox-tiinnd house fire.
