The 71st Corry Senior High graduation themed The Challenge of Tomorrow's World was held in the school auditorium. John Rickers delivered the prologue, Katherine Spelsman the salutatorian spoke on A Challenge To All, Charles Rathesale on A Challenge To Economic Life, Mary Cogan on A Challenge To Social Life, Theodore Sayako on A Challenge To Education. The ceremony included songs by the Senior Ensemble, the flag salute led by Andrew Carnegie, and a closing performance on Living In Tomorrow. Principal H J Sheen praised wartime student participation as the audience sang the Star Spangled Banner.
