Mrs Brown 77 of 04 East Pleasant street died yesterday in Corry Memorial Beeps after a long illness. She was a nurse, life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and survived by her husband and children. James Scholton of Corry died after sustaining an electrical work incident at age 29. He served in the Navy and was a member of local had affiliations. Burial plans pending with local funeral homes. Police reported a drowned body found yesterday or Friday along Pa. 040 near White Haven.

The funeral mass for Stanley V. Malek was held at St. Elizabeth's Church with Rev. Cyril Kronz presiding. Burial followed at the church cemetery after a Bracken Funeral Home prayer service. bearers included Edward Berry, Leroy Cobb, Walter Dundon, John Christensen, Dominic Piccirillo and Walter Royelt. Messages of condolence came from relatives in Euclid Ohio and Cleveland area, with many friends attending from the Cony area. Henry Swenson, 44, of Grand Junction Colorado, rides as many as 130 miles in a day to toughen his legs via cycling.
