Harrisburg AP reports two Bradford McKean firms American Glycerine Co and Pringle Powder Co face Clean Streams Act charges for discharging harmful substances from industrial lagoons into a tributary of East Branch of the Tunanguwani Creek in Lafayette Township. Hearings set by Justice Arnold Field Hazlehurst. complaint filed May 24.

Erie Man Faces Trial Over Whiskey For Teen Killer
Raymond Beegle 43 pleads not guilty to corrupting the morals of a minor after allegedly buying whiskey for Gary Olszewski and a 16 year old in the night Roland Triplett was slain. Beegle held on $500 bond. Olszewski charged with murder and undergoing psychiatric tests at Warren State Hospital. The teen companion identified Beegle as the whiskey supplier.
