Fire destroys Union City store. family escapes
Fire swept a Union City store on Union Street Ward en Street Market causing about 20000 dollars in damage. Owner Gordon Willey woke to smoke in the upstairs dwelling and guided his family to safety through a back entrance. State Police To Charge Area Motorist
State Police said a motorist identified as Pruyn, 23, will be charged with driving to the left of the highway center after an accident five miles west of Union City at about 10:45 Saturday night. Nancy Lesner, 18, of Edinboro, was westbound when the Pruyn vehicle crossed the center and clipped the other car. There were no injuries, but total damage to both cars was about 4400 dollars according to police.
