State Okays Clymer School Addition

The New York State Department of Education approved an addition to Clymer Central School potentially prompting the closing of Pindley Lake school after a meeting of officials from Clymer Sherman and Panama. The plan includes three kindergarten rooms four regular classrooms and extra gym space. A Findley Lake school is unlikely now though consolidation could improve its prospects. Ranger Robin led a prisoner retrieval behind enemy lines, then killed the prisoners when threatened, a deed questioned as cowardly yet defended as necessary. The piece recalls fear, isolation, and loss, noting only 52 of 230 Rangers walked away.
