Mrs. Doris 8. Sherred announces the engagement of her daughter Martha Joanne Sherred of Erie to Russell Chelton of Corry. Martha is a 1974 Fort LeBoeuf High School and Erie County Vocational School graduate. Russell is a 1973 Corry Area High School graduate employed at Tonnard Manufacturing. The couple plans an October 1 wedding.
Mr and Mrs Gordon Fralick of Corry will be honored at a Sunday open house and reception for their 25th wedding anniversary. The event at the Community House runs 2 to 5 p.m. hosted by their children and relatives. They wed June 16 1951 at Spartansburg Methodist Church.

In Corry, the Class of 1966 plans a tenth anniversary alumni reunion with a party and gatherings. Members vote on a sale price for first OU sketches of gall Mstratons. Quilt block deadlines and a 4-H Sewing Club meet at Mrs. Ginny Bensink’s home with Loretta Clabbatz providing refreshments.
Gerald Nielsen eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Nielsen of R D 1 Columbus was honored at a party at the family home. About 35 children and 10 adults from West Virginia Erie Corry Columbus Spring Creek and Bear Lake attended. Prizes went to Kirk Southworth Candy Nichols Shelly Messinger Beth Malick Joey Malek Lori Rexford Edward Roesch Shelly Messenger Darin Mosher and Anna Mae Yancey.
