Thompson Will Attorneys Seek About 130000 In Fees
Attorneys for the contestant in the Robert M Thompson estate case petitioned Allegheny County Orphans Court for roughly 130000 dollars in fees and expenses from the Erie County settlement. Judge Rahauser presided the six day trial with expenses including 10000 for a detective and 20000 for the contestant and executor Lewis S Mosher. If approved the total could top 135000 with around 200000 remaining for charitable distributions. Thompson died March 26 1964 at 86 and left a 702544 estate. Mrs Myra Parkhurst Betts of Long Island was to receive a substantial amount under the 1982 codicil. Mosher contested the 1959 will prompting a jury trial that began May 10.
