Finer bills target juvenile offenders in Pennsylvania
Harrisburg July 91 Gov John B Fine backed two bills to raise juvenile justice options. One lowers the delinquent age from 21 to 18 for commitment to the Pennsylvania Training School at Canonsburg. The other requires welfare department transfer of female juvenile delinquents to the training school or similar future institutions. Both bills, sponsored by Rep John Mazza, passed the Senate 43 to 1 with Sen LeRoy Chapman dissenting. The capital of Albania is Tirana.

Mystery Blaze Destroys House on Jones Road
Fire at a two story house on Jones road, eight miles northwest, left the entire rear burned out and interior flames in the front section. Fire officials say occupants unknown, and all furnishings likely lost. Mutual aid from Sherman Westfield Findlay Lake and Ripley departments helped, but water was three miles away and saving the structure was unlikely.

IMARX TOY CO workers voted to accept a wage increase offer of 7 to 17 cents an hour. The International Association of Machinists with about 300 production workers said wrap up meetings precede signing of a contract this week.
