Gorty Grange plans a Saturday afternoon session in their roomu with members attending. The program includes Bong, Church in the Wigwool, roll call, benefits of the church to the community, questions about the founder and early organizers, music by Mrs Wats, readings, recitations, and a hymn by the chaplain.
The American Legion post led by Harry Thompson and Drake Phester manager arranged Sunday concerts to be held in Gil City and nearby towns. Proceeds will fund uniforms for a long-standing band formed by World War I veterans. The effort aims to unite former local servicemen and provide a historic musical showcase.

Several Corry residents were among jurors drawn for the September terms of criminal court at Ed e yesterday. Grand jurors will meet the first Monday in September and trial jurors the second Monday.
