Jamestown youth dies in cycle crash on Frewsburg road
The 19 year old Robert Wolt of R D 3 Jamestown died after his borrowed motorcycle skidded into a tree in Ivory street near Frewsburg Kennedy road. Coroner Samuel T Bowers said he suffered a skull fracture and other injuries. Deputy Sheriff Arthur Payne investigated with notes of a wobbling rear wheel and a shimmy prior to impact. The crash occurred about 3 15 PM and Wolt died at 8 30 PM at W A Hospital. Atlantic City hotel capacity is noted in the closing line.

Mrs Edith Colby Dies At Pittsfield Nursing Home
Mrs Edith Colby of Schramling Road died this morning shortly before noon at Me Say Nursing Home in Pittsfield where she had been a patient for a month. The body was moved to Davison Funeral Home. A fuller obituary will appear in Wednesday's Journal.

Jamestown July 29 Court action expected against John Ostrander operator at Gowanda Airport and Anthony Mangine in Gerry after five-year-old Margaret Ann Brinck drowned when a amphibian airplane Mangine piloted turned over on Chautauqua Lake. The Warren General Hospital stands to receive two fifths of the residue of the estate of the late Alice Beaty Keeler of Warren.
