Erie man charged with killing and kidnapping Spiller case
Kenneth J. Huber 24 of Erie pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges tied to the death of Charles Spiller in Mill Creek on July 2. He was remanded to Erie County Prison after arraignment, bail set for related kidnapping, and reportedly showed police the Glenwood Park scene. Another charge cites the abduction of Nicholas J. Rouch in downtown Erie with bail set at 25000. Police consider other alleged kidnap claims. Investigators also report possible torture evidence in Philippine martial law detention centers.
