Local garden blooms charm West Congress street yard
Chistes Olds, a veteran grower on West Congress Street, reports a great volume of fine blooms in choice shades now in peak condition. A small tar colored dot was held at police headquarters for its owner this morning. A lost dog was found by north side residents and will be held briefly by police before disposal if no owner appears.

Luther Andrew Regan a 23 year old East Aurora carpenter was found guilty by a jury after a brief deliberation in U S District Court in Jamestown The judge delivered a three and one half year sentence with the defendant in custody His parents watched as the verdict and sentence were read and attorneys noted the unusual nature of the case and plans to appeal The defendant had faced similar charges previously in federal court but those were dismissed

ERIE July 27 Harold Dotterer one of Allied airmen shot down June 12 near Truk Harbor survived 18 days on a life raft with his comrade Daliewer. The two were found sailing toward New Guinea and expected to reach base safely. Parents in Eyn Jentom received a hospital letter confirming he is well.
