Flying Saucer Seen Over Titusville By 25 Workers
A bright silver disk hovered above Titusville during lunch at Struthers Wells Corp for about 15 minutes before vanishing to the northeast. About 25 to 40 witnesses, including former Pittsburgh Press photographer John F. Austen, described a metallic object 15 inches wide with a sun-reflective surface and a dark edge when tilted.

Sparta Youth Held In Gasoline Theft Incident
A Spartansburg youth, 1-year-ain noy from Spartansburg R D, was arrested at home yesterday tied to an attempted gasoline theft from a truck near Kaneville after midnight. Paul J. Shingledecker, 19, of Rouseville, accompanying him, was later picked up and placed on parole by County Judge Lee A. McCracken. The pair, surprised by a passing motorist, fled in a car, which overturned during pursuit. both escaped unharmed, one leaving a shoe that linked the Spartansburg youth to the theft.
