Suit Filed Against Sterling Milk and Driver Over Collision
Joseph T. Shoemaker of Bradford filed an Erie County lawsuit seeking more than 10 000 from Sterling Milk Co and driver James Swiersk for injuries from a November 16 1967 collision on Route 8 involving a Sterling Milk truck and Shoemaker’s station wagon. Damages total about 12 700. The record notes truck trailer incidents nearby with a car carrier struck by a train at Lottsville and a carrier stuck on an Erie-Lackawanna crossing near Baccus Corners Route 6 to Route 957, with Trooper Norbert Irish investigating. no names released.
