Sherman pleaded not guilty and was remanded without bail for grand jury. he sobbed in court and in jail claiming he sang to his wife.
Lawson, 28, pleaded guilty today to voluntary manslaughter in the death of William Lockhart, 42, at a Farewell party before Lockhart’s planned departure for Alabama. The murder charge was dropped. Wan faces sentencing at the August term of criminal court.
