Child killed by P E train near Shenfield

In Shenfield on July 21 a three year old child, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Parry, was killed crossing Philadelphia and Erie tracks as a train from Erie passed. New Confectionery Store to Open in Corry

Po Askories & Company, owners of Olympia Confectionery and Kriey Image ice cream parlors, lease the Cohen teddy wear space at Center and Washington and plan a confectionery opening around September. Towing of the storeroom was completed and the firm will move in after September, with a formal opening likely around the 3rd. The Olympia confectionery remains at its corner location, while the current ready to wear department will be remodeled inside the block. Three Charges Against Negro Arrested Here

Jamestown Post reports two Black men were arrested in connection with a shooting in Jamestown. Sergeant James M. Quinlan stated there was no warrant for more suspects. the two were released.
