Spring Creek Builds Playground After Tragic Death
In Spring Creek a broad community effort aims to create a 5 acre playground with picnic area and softball field to keep children safe off roads after the death of 6 year old Michael Dunkle. Funds and labor come from local residents and outside donors including McChesney family and several businesses. Committee leadership includes Preston Wynn and Mrs Dunkle with Lois Lillie as treasurer. Contributions mailed to Miss Lillie, zip 16436, with $1 membership cards available.
