Pleasantville Team Heads for Sunday Baseball at Loveland Field

Pleasantville Independents, winners over the Cory Merchants by a score of HB a month ago, will provide the opposition for the Groupmen at Loveland Field tomorrow. Umpire George Sprovert will start the game at three oclock. The visitors showed a well balanced club in their previous appearance and the Merchants will have to be at their best to run their win streak to three straight. They played errorless ball in the air and rapped two for 12 hits in recording the triumph. Manager Group has nominated himself to go to the HM and if he is waving one of his days the chances for a victory will be considerably enhanced. Opposing the Cory pilot on the mound will be youthful Paul Shsout, a right hander. Corry's lineup will likely include Red Kennedy, Jack Wilson, Mike Goda and Chuck Williams on the infield, Chuck McLean, Bill Harmon and Joe Sarnicki in the outfield, Groug on the mound and Bobby Loveland behind the plate.
