Erie County approves 15500 reappraisal contract for exempt properties
Commissioners authorize Allied Appraisal Inc to extend a countywide reappraisal program to tax exempt properties and house trailers for 1969. The move follows a county tax assessment board suggestion and a dispute with the city assessment bureau over data access and plan availability. Allied already handles a 262000 three year program and a 35000 yearly update contract.

A $56,616 federal grant was approved to update the Erie County master plan, with total costs estimated at $255,000 over three years. County Planning Director Chris Capotis said the work will follow a schedule to be submitted to HUD, with first-year projects including population analysis, land use survey, recreation, highways and transit plans, and regional utilities.
