Local Aides Treated For Wading Mishap At French Creek
Lawrence Westfall 19 of Biawnos Pa treated at Spencer hospital Meadville Sunday evening for a gadly lacerated hand after slipping while wading in French Creek. Six auteries were needed to close the cut. The Mentor Club plans a picnic at the summer home of Mr and Mrs D A Hillstrom on Chautauqua Lake Wednesday afternoon with attendees bringing own table service and a sureen. Probe Crash at Sea Fatal to 3 Persons
An inquiry into the Coast Giant hospital plane V-164 crash off the coast killed three aboard. Priest George Temple, 36, of Boston, and four others died when the plane failed to return from a flight. Five Coast Guardsmen were rescued by the Atlantis.

A two year old, Robert Poringer, son of Mr and Mrs Owen Foringer of Erie, was found after a four and a half hour search Sunday. He stood beside his dog, which had been struck by a car three miles from home. the dog suffered a broken leg and the boy had scratches from his bare legs and face. City police seek two men who kidnapped Edward Kay, also called Evie, as he was getting into his car Saturday night. Kay was beaten and his wallet taken before being left in a dazed condition.
