Commerce Board Plans Town Picnic
The Entertainment Committee of the Commerce Board and Town Committee held a meeting in the Commerce rooms of the Cameron block to plan a town picnic this fall. A committee of C Alexander Willont Lewis and Frank Baeder was formed to handle arrangements. A Labor Day celebration is hoped with a general turnout and a citywide concert by a band planned for fall. An address by a speaker and athletic events such as baseball football and hoopla are planned. Ray Green of Grand Valley is visiting relatives in the city for a short time.
