Four Perry Highway firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation at St. Vincent’s Hospital and released. Seven Dunked In Kina Area Bridge Collapse
BRADFORD AP Seven people were docked in the Allegheny River when a floating bridge to the Wolf Run Marina on the Allegheny Reservoir collapsed. Cyrus Denmark, owner of the concession, said the weight of the people likely caused the bridge to bow after being bumped by a boat. The divers rescued them from six feet of water with no injuries reported.

Shotgun Incident Ends Quietly After Surrender
Said Sjoden stuck a shotgun from a front window and warned others to stop. Patrolmen took cover, and after 20 minutes Sjoden came to the porch and talked with Alexander who persuaded him to give up the weapon. The gun was unloaded, and Sjoden was taken to jail.
