War Training May Continue at Erie Center
The Erie Center war training program at the University of Pittsburgh may extend after the summer term with a plan to run through fall and spring. Officials say enrollment remains strong for both men and women in engineering science and management courses, with several hundred students to start fall sessions.

Walter Coleman and Josh Walter, both described as ne rves, were arrested by Cruiser Patrolmen Arthur Oligeri and Leo Wardanski after Mrs Helen Gillespie screamed at seeing them near her bedroom window. Du Bois Sailor Dies in Calif Hospital
Erie Pennsylvania veteran Richard Dryden Rogers 44 formerly of Du Bois Pennsylvania died in Oakland California hospital Tuesday at 2 am from injuries possibly an automobile accident over the weekend. He served as purser on Alaska Steamship Lines and was in the Navy over a year with training in San Diego. Survived by his parents Mr and Mrs John P Rogers of Erie.
