Albany AP report states Roy M. Cohn, noted lawyer and businessman, must pay $522,200 to Manton B. Steinthal and Angus J. Steinthal after the Court of Appeals upheld an Appellate Division ruling. The 1961 transaction involved a parachute business sold to Lionel Corp stock, with Cohn agreeing to repurchase up to $800,000 of the stock or cover any loss if resale failed. The Steinthals claim they sought repurchase on January 17, 1962, but Cohn cited financial inability. The stock was later sold in 1963 for $247,200, yielding a $522,200 shortfall.
