Operations Return To Normal At Atomic Plant

Paducah Kentucky reports resume of operations at the atomic plant as strikers from Local 50 CTO Gas Coke and Chemical Workers end walkout. Eight hurt in area accidents over weekend

Eight persons were injured in separate accidents Saturday and Sunday. Lawrence Risley of Bear Lake fractured his back after a hay rack fall and was treated at a local hospital then transferred to Erle for further care. Frank Foster of Warford was admitted for a lacerated tendon on the left hand, treated and released. Brian Wright of Erie received a right foot laceration while swimming Freneti Creek. Charles Bracken of North Center Street sprained a left ankle by stepping in a hole. Marlene Kaus sustained a knee injury after a fall on broken glass. John Turziz had a fish hook removed from his left index finger. Carol Tripp injured her right foot jumping from a hay mow. Mrs David Pratt was treated for a left-hand laceration while opening a can. William Shreve suffered a head laceration after being struck by a truck door and was released after treatment.

Preacher and Girl Die in Wilkes-Barre Crash
