Raids on Moose and Eagles clubs lead to arrests
Corporal J. J. Broske and local police raided the Moose and Eagles clubrooms and the Eureka club at Oil City around o'clock Monday. Several people were arrested for illegally possessing liquor, and bail of $1000 was set for their appearance at 3 DP. The raid also uncovered intoxicating liquor and gambling devices in the venues.
