Out of state motorists boost Pennsylvania tourism gains
A Harrisburg survey shows motorists from other states funded over one third of Pennsylvania's $80 million tourism sector last year. About 10,118,000 out of state drivers spent roughly $9.10 daily in the state, with an average stay of 2.6 days, totaling more than $80 million. The study excludes bus rail and air travelers, as well as hunters and fishermen.
