Martha Washingtons Picnic Postponed To A Later Date
Local notices from Sparta Florence Sherlock detail the 50th Martha Washingtons annual picnic delayed from July 10 with plans to announce a new date. Also reported are church family picnics, hospital updates, visits, reunions, and a Strawberry Pie Festival at the fire hall with a modest crowd and door prize. The piece ties together community events, travelers, and well wishes for the ill.
